About Dr. Katelyn Gunn

Raised on an alfalfa farm in Fort Sumner, New Mexico, Dr. Gunn always dreamed of practicing dentistry in a close-knit community. After earning her degree in Biochemistry from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, she went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Arizona.

Drawn back by family ties in the Amarillo area, Dr. Gunn is excited to serve a community that already feels like home. She’s passionate about dentistry because it blends her love for science, people, and working with her hand; a passion sparked when she began assisting in high school.
